GRADUATE CREDIT REGISTRATION PROCESS

If you intend to take this course for graduate credit, follow the instructions below to get registered with Old Dominion University. You must also register at this website if you have not already done so.

Disclaimer: We make every effort to help you take this course for graduate credit, but have no control over the university's registration process. All questions related to applying for admission to ODU should be directed to the Admissions Office at 757-683-4901. If you are admitted but have questions about registering for this course please email the registrar's office.

In order to enroll for 3 graduate credits at Old Dominion University, you must:
  1. be admitted to the university, and
  2. register for HIST 595
    (If you are already a graduate student at Old Dominion University, follow your normal procedures for getting registered.)


    • STEP 1:
      To be admitted to the university, go to ODU NON-DEGREE ADMISSIONS, read the information at the bottom of the page, click the link to fill out and submit the on-line Non–Degree admissions form with the application fee, which is payable by credit card.
      INDICATE ON YOUR ADMISSIONS FORM THAT YOU WILL BE TAKING
      HIST 595 -Course Reference #24107
      You will then get an e-mail from the Admissions Office confirming your admission to the University and instructions for how to access your identification number (UIN). You will need your UIN and your password to pay for the course online.

    • STEP 2:
      Because the drop/add period will have closed at ODU, YOU MUST EMAILTHE REGISTRAR'S OFFICE TO GET REGISTERED FOR THE COURSE.

      Please indicate you would like to be enrolled in HIST 595--CRN: 24107
      She will get you registered.

    • STEP 3:
      Once your registration is confirmed, you must PAY ONLINE for the course. Please go to LEO ONLINE and log in using your UIN and password. From there, follow the prompts to access your account and pay your tuition.
